(English) was a time when we went to the Manzanar concentration camp because it is probably one of the closest, and the country still maintains a certain structure that is reminiscent of what was there. So we went there and wrote an article about our trip to the Giant Robot (Giant Robot). We searched the place to see a different point of view because I had read about that place, but we never read about how the place is exactly. We were really there, and we take our skateboards, skateboards and have our big wheels, made to the clay-ground because we think that place would be all the earth. So we decided to take them just for fun because I had some small hills in the area where they could skate. And so we explored the area quite around the camp and discovered a huge reservoir where you could skate. We look good for the cement and noticed that the Asian-Americans who worked there, they entered their names. There are several names written in that Asian-Americans probably with cruets and cement stones or something. We thought it was a very interesting thing because you never read anything about that. You then feel that those inscriptions humanize the place, which is not only that barren landscape. Yet there are these strange cultural elements, and I find that interesting. That discovery was the coolest thing I had ever heard. When I go to places like this, I always look for things that can not necessarily find in books or history books, instead I look for things that make me laugh a little. These guys-they were kids, you know. These were young people like me. That is, what they did is something I would have done well, sign my name (laughs) along with some others. I do not think they thought that someday someone would do that, but I've seen. It was just to let them know, but I've seen. It is important, yes. You can not blame the kids who thought that Tony Hawk was a character in video games before discovering that it was a skateboarder in the flesh. This industry has grown staggering in recent years and can say that today is, using certain parameters, higher than the actual movie. Unlike what happened before, but today the heroes are born in the games that migrate to the movies (Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, and the characters of Resident Evil for example). The fact is that if Hawk had to leave this life to gain the fame he deserved, he is still at it, skateboarding and showing the mastery with which it comes from Del Mar, how to enter the mainstream skateboarding without putting a foot hands. In 1987, while Tony and his partners sought by Bones Brigade Animal Chin, the games were living in the era of 16 bit, with the Sega Genesis and Neo Geo invading the houses as if they were coming from another world. About 10 years later, Tony became a skater in a world without fractures, initiating a series of 16 games so far. In the last weekend in Linkoping (Norway), Tony Hawk real, that the Sea Club Overall SkateShow, Birdhouse "The End", the backside 540 ollie on "Ban This", returned a 900 at age 43. The bar is still full of energy.
